Johnshaven is a great place to visit for a day out or a proper holiday.  

The village, comprised of higgledy piggledy streets, is nestled down by the sea in the far south of Aberdeenshire

  • a pick-your-own fruit farm with excellent cafe and an extensive play area   

  • puffins and other cliff nesting birds at Fowlsheugh RSPB

  • Stonehaven's famous Art Deco, heated open air swimming pool

  • Montrose Basin is a haven for birds with an excellent visitor centre and hides

  • Crathes & Drum Castles are less than an hour's drive away
